Microsoft zune help?

my zune has froze(displaying 5. Contact Support) and will not return to normal state, i called microsoft and they just told me how to reset it but it didnt work, they said something might be wrong with the software, i dont have a warranty and they cant fix it, can someone help me find a way to fix it?

Let the battery drain completely. Then try to recharge it. If that doesn't work, then I try either rebooting or reformatting. H



How do I reformat my Zune player?



Under rare circumstances you may need to reformat your player. (Typically you wouldn't do this unless directed to by Zune technical support.)



First, press and hold the back (left) button and at the same time press and hold the "up" button on the control pad.



The player will start to reset; as soon as it does, hold down the back button, center button, and right button at the same time.



Your player will then inform you that it is deleting all media on device, and your Zune should revert to the "way it was" when you first pulled it out of the box - except that you will lose the pre-loaded content. There's no workaround for that one... yet!

How do I reboot my Zune?



You may need to do this if your player starts freezing or otherwise misbehaving.



To reboot, press and hold the back (left) button, while pressing "up" on the control pad, and your Zune will reboot!



ave you had your Zune longer than 1 year? If you have had it less then one year, bought it from an authorized retailer, and still have the receipt then you can still use the warranty. Zunes have a 1 year limited warranty. http://www.zune.net/en-us/support/produc...
