Does anybody know how i can access microsoft excel and microsoft word for xp?

tried everything from e-mailing microsoft to using the help and support option on the pc but alas i failed

Well when you get internet you are going to be able to use them.

First open microsoft word or microsoft excel and a pop up will appear that says DO YOU WANT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT NOW and click that. Then the internet will take you to a place and you will be able to use microsoft. It says "Do you want to buy this product now" but it is free. You don't have to pay money at all. IT IS FREE.!!!!

you will have to buy a software package unfortunately. You could try Sun Star instead. its a copy of microsoft and it is freeware, just google sun star.
Yes you will have to buy the microsoft office for XP software, I had the same problem, everytime I tried to open it, it would flick up and close down again!
Unfortunately Office doesnt come as standard with XP you do have to buy it. Alternatively you could try OpenOffice which is pretty much the same thing as Microsoft Word/Excell but its free.
